Dr. Samantha Watson

Dr. Samantha Watson is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on advanced cataract and glaucoma procedures. She specializes in state-of-the-art cataract surgery, including femtosecond laser-assisted techniques, and offers premium intraocular lens implantation to correct astigmatism and presbyopia. Her expertise also includes the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration.

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Watson graduated with honors from Clemson University. She earned her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Watson is deeply committed to helping her patients restore and maintain their vision. She shares, "As a strongly visual person, I cherish the ability to experience our world in the visual sense. It is heartening to be able to help restore vision for others so that they may have the same opportunity." Outside of her practice, she enjoys boating, running, and spending time on the water with her husband and three children.
