About Me
Dr. Carl Sloan is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on glaucoma and cataract surgery. He has extensive training in these areas and is committed to helping patients maintain and improve their vision.
Dr. Sloan completed his medical education at the Medical University of South Carolina and then pursued specialized training in ophthalmology. He finished a residency at the Krieger Eye Institute and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, which equipped him with advanced skills in managing complex eye conditions.
In his practice, Dr. Sloan offers both surgical and non-surgical treatments. He performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and complex cataract surgery with advanced lens implants. For glaucoma, he also provides non-surgical options such as selective laser trabeculoplasty and long-acting medication injections.
