Dr. Rohin Vij

Rohin Vij, MD, MPH, is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cornea specialist at Mid Ohio Eye. He provides cataract, refractive and corneal surgical care with a patient-first approach that emphasizes safety, ethics and clear communication. Dr. Vij offers advanced cataract options—including presbyopia-correcting lenses—and performs a full range of vision correction procedures such as LASIK, PRK and ICL surgery. His cornea practice includes modern corneal transplantation techniques (PKP, DSAEK and DMEK), and he integrates minimally invasive glaucoma surgery when appropriate to reduce drop burden after cataract surgery. Dr. Vij completed an accelerated seven-year BA/MD pathway, earned an MPH, trained in ophthalmology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore, and pursued fellowship training in cornea, refractive and external disease at the University of Florida, gaining additional refractive experience while working with military patients at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. He enjoys teaching residents and presenting at national meetings, and tailors every plan to the patient’s visual goals and lifestyle.
