Dr. Rishi Singhal is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who focuses on the medical and surgical care of diseases affecting the retina. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees at The George Washington University, completed ophthalmology residency training at the Penn State Hershey Eye Center, and pursued subspecialty fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at The Ohio State University Havener Eye Center. At Suburban Retina Associates, Dr. Singhal provides comprehensive retinal care using advanced diagnostics and treatments, including office-based therapies and surgical interventions when needed. The practice routinely manages diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, retinal tears and detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, central serous chorioretinopathy, uveitis, and symptoms such as flashes and floaters. Services include intravitreal injections, laser photocoagulation, and vitreoretinal surgery (vitrectomy and scleral buckle) to restore or preserve vision whenever possible.
