Dr. Rima Patel

Dr. Rima Patel is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina conditions. She joined Associated Retina Consultants in 2020, bringing expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal diseases. Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive retina care, utilizing the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.

Dr. Patel completed her residency in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center and then pursued a fellowship in medical retina at the University of Southern California Roski Eye Institute. She is actively involved in research and has co-authored multiple papers on a variety of retinal topics. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She is conversational in Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati, which helps her connect with a diverse patient population.
