Dr. Philip Nelsen is a board-certified, fellowship-trained retina specialist at Retina Vitreous Associates in Ohio. He provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and macular holes.

Dr. Nelsen earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School and completed his ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in retina at Albany Medical College.
