Dr. Oksana Demediuk

Dr. Demediuk is a retina specialist at The Retina Eye Center in Augusta, Georgia, with decades of experience in diagnosing and treating diseases of the retina and vitreous. She has been in medical practice since 1987 and offers advanced surgical and medical care for complex eye conditions.

She focuses on conditions such as retinal detachment, diabetic eye disease, and retinopathy of prematurity. Her surgical expertise includes vitrectomy, scleral buckle surgery, laser photocoagulation, and membrane peeling.

Dr. Demediuk completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. She pursued an internship, ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, and a vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Toronto. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
