Dr. Sohail Khan

Dr. Sohail Khan is a retina specialist providing vitreous and retinal surgical care to patients in the greater CSRA area. He was raised in Augusta, Georgia, and completed his undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He then attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Khan completed an internship in surgery and medicine at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, and returned to Augusta for his ophthalmology residency. He further specialized with a two-year fellowship in vitreous and retinal surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Now returning home, he is dedicated to offering advanced retinal care. His practice focuses on the treatment of retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, using cutting-edge surgical techniques.
