About Me
Dr. Musa Abdelaziz is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon and ocular oncologist at Retina Center of Texas. He performs the latest surgical techniques to repair retinal detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, diabetic tractional detachments, and other complex vitreoretinal diseases, and provides advanced medical therapy for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, uveitis, and more. He also treats uveal melanoma and other intraocular tumors. Patients know him for thorough explanations and steady surgical skill.
Dr. Abdelaziz graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, earned his MD at Washington University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals/Case Western (chief resident), vitreoretinal fellowship with Georgetown University/Retina Group of Washington, and an ocular oncology fellowship at UCSF. He joined RCT in 2020 and remains active in research and education.
