About Me
Dr. Nikisha Kothari is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina care at Texas Retina Associates. She is deeply committed to preserving and restoring vision, and she approaches each patient with compassion and a focus on individualized care. Dr. Kothari believes in working collaboratively with her patients to develop treatment plans that align with their goals and concerns.
Dr. Kothari completed her vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and her ophthalmology residency at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Her extensive training in the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases allows her to provide advanced care for conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions, and retinal detachment.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kothari is actively involved in clinical research and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications. She sees patients at several Texas Retina Associates locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Grapevine, Arlington, and Mansfield.
