Dr. Michael Fasano

Dr. Michael L. Fasano is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for patients in Northeast Pennsylvania. He has a particular focus on cataract and refractive surgery, offering laser cataract techniques and advanced lifestyle lens implants to reduce dependence on glasses. Dr. Fasano also manages glaucoma with medications, laser procedures, and MIGS options, and cares for patients with diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration. He believes in clear communication and personalized treatment plans so every patient understands their options and feels confident in their care.

Dr. Fasano earned his D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an ophthalmology residency at Larkin Community Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He then joined Eye Care Specialists in Kingston, PA. His background also includes an internship at Lehigh Valley Health Network and undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University.
