Dr. Maura Di Nicola

Dr. Shima Dehghani Ahmadabad is an ophthalmologist with fellowship training in uveitis and ocular inflammatory disease. She completed a dedicated uveitis fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami, following ophthalmology residency at Farabi Eye Hospital and medical school at Shahid Beheshti. Her focus is diagnosing and treating complex intraocular inflammation across the spectrum of anterior, intermediate, and posterior uveitis. Dr. Dehghani cares for patients with autoimmune retinopathies and infectious retinitis, and she is experienced with steroid-sparing immunomodulatory therapies when indicated. She contributes to education through Bascom Palmer Grand Rounds presentations on topics such as non-paraneoplastic autoimmune retinopathy and Bartonella retinitis. Dr. Veronica Graversen is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced experience caring for patients with uveitis and retinal disease. She focuses on diagnosing complex inflammatory and retinal conditions and building practical, step-by-step treatment plans that protect vision and support long-term eye health. Her training includes fellowship work at New England Retina Associates and an ophthalmology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Graversen has contributed to the field through peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and lectures at international meetings, and she has served as a co-editor of the Diagnostic Atlas of Retinal Diseases. She has also been recognized by the American Society of Retina Specialists for her professional contributions.

Dr. Stephanie Marie Llop Quintana is an ophthalmologist specializing in uveitis and ocular inflammatory disease, caring for patients with conditions such as uveitis, scleritis, and episcleritis. She provides both medical and surgical management, including immunosuppressive therapy and cataract surgery when needed, with a goal of protecting vision and long-term eye health. She completed a fellowship in Uveitis & Ocular Immunology at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary - Harvard Medical School (2017) after an ophthalmology residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine (2016). She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR Medical Campus) in 2012. As an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology, her research interests include treatments for ocular inflammation, and she partners closely with patients to tailor care to their symptoms and lifestyle.
