Dr. Matthew Camp

Dr. Matthew W. Camp is a board-certified vitreo-retinal surgeon who provides specialized care for diseases of the posterior segment of the eye. He treats conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal tears, and retinal detachments. Dr. Camp is fellowship trained in vitreoretinal surgery and brings advanced expertise to his practice at Georgia Mountain Ophthalmology in Jasper, Georgia.

Dr. Camp completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Eye Consultants of Atlanta (Piedmont Hospital) and has been serving the Jasper community since 2009. He is the only ophthalmologist and first retinal specialist in Pickens County, offering comprehensive retinal care to patients in the area.
