Dr. Feiler completed medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, then trained in ophthalmology at the Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic. He went on to complete a medical and surgical retina fellowship at the University of Iowa’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Michael Ellis is a vitreoretinal surgeon with a practice focused on medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Ellis combines up-to-date diagnostics with the full range of treatments—from in-office injections and lasers to advanced vitrectomy techniques—to deliver care that is both effective and efficient. Dr. Alan Hromas is an ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical retina care. He evaluates and treats complex retinal disease with a focus on helping patients understand their diagnosis, the available treatment options, and the goals of care over time. Dr. Hromas earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2010, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas (serving as Chief Resident), and then completed fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Retina & Vitreous of Texas in Houston. He has participated in clinical research efforts exploring new therapies for diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. In addition to advanced retinal procedures, he emphasizes timely treatment and clear communication to support patients facing vision-threatening conditions.
