Dr. Manuel Camejo

Dr. David Camejo is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery. He cares for patients with retinal diseases using both office-based treatments and surgical options, and he has a special interest in participating in clinical trials and research that advances retina care.

Dr. Camejo completed undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed both his internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. He pursued fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery with Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. His clinical interests include macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, and other retinal diseases and treatments, with a focus on protecting vision and supporting patients through long-term care.
