Dr. Maria Basile

Dr. Maria Basile is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in small incision cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma treatment. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Basile was awarded her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed her residency in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Glaucoma at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Basile specializes in the latest techniques in precision cataract surgery, as well as medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma, including the latest in micro-invasive glaucoma surgery. She sees patients from Monday to Friday in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Basile provides comprehensive eye care for a wide range of conditions, helping patients maintain and improve their vision through advanced surgical and medical treatments.
