Dr. Jonathan Williams

Jonathan S. Williams, MD, is a glaucoma specialist at NYU Langone who provides individualized medical, laser, and surgical care to help patients preserve vision and quality of life. He treats the full range of glaucomas and also performs cataract surgery, including care for patients with complex lens issues. His philosophy emphasizes tailoring therapy to a person’s history, daily needs, and preferences while minimizing treatment burden.

Dr. Williams completed a glaucoma fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine after ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to clinical care, he participates in research and clinical trials aimed at improving glaucoma diagnosis and management.
