Meet Dr. Leon Strauss
About Me
Dr. Benjamin R. Strauss is an ophthalmologist at Georgia Eye Associates, seeing patients at the Lawrenceville and Braselton offices. He earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, followed by residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Strauss then completed a fellowship in Cornea and External Diseases at Tufts University and the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Strauss provides medical and surgical care for complex conditions of the cornea and ocular surface. He performs advanced corneal procedures such as corneal cross-linking, partial and full-thickness corneal transplants, intraocular lens exchanges, and cataract surgery. He also offers laser vision correction, including LASIK and PRK.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Strauss is passionate about teaching ophthalmology and enjoys educating patients and fellow medical professionals about eye health.
