Meet Dr. Benjamin Strauss
About Me
Dr. Benjamin R. Strauss is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in cornea and external diseases. He helps patients manage both routine and complex corneal and ocular surface conditions, offering medical therapy as well as specialized surgical options when needed.
Dr. Strauss earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. He finished residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then pursued fellowship training in Cornea and External Diseases at Tufts University and the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.
With this focused training, he provides care that includes corneal cross-linking, partial- and full-thickness corneal transplantation, intraocular lens exchange, cataract surgery, and laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK.
