Dr. William Segal

Dr. William Segal is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Georgia Eye Physicians & Surgeons in Duluth, Georgia. A native of Atlanta, he earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, a top institution for visual science. He then pursued a prestigious fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the University of California, Davis.

With over two decades of experience and advanced fellowship training, Dr. Segal provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the greater Atlanta area. He stays at the forefront of ophthalmology as an active fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and offers a wide range of services, including cataract surgery, LASIK, and treatment for conditions like glaucoma, dry eye, and keratoconus. His practice was among the first in Georgia to utilize the LenSx laser for cataract surgery and the iLink cross-linking procedure for keratoconus.
