Dr. Leiv Takle

Dr. Leiv Takle Jr. is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and oculoplastic surgeon serving patients in Griffin, Georgia. He provides a wide range of eye care services, including no-injection, no-stitch cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and treatment of macular degeneration, dry eyes, and diabetic retinal disease. Dr. Takle is also fellowship-trained in oculoplastic, orbital, and cosmetic surgery, offering procedures such as blepharoplasty, eyelid reconstruction after skin cancer removal, and tear duct surgery.

Dr. Takle completed his ophthalmology residency and internship at Emory Eye Center, where he gained expertise in the latest surgical techniques. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and he currently serves as Chief of Surgery at Spalding Regional Hospital.
