About Me
Dr. Ted Wojno is the James and Shirley Kuse Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine and serves as director of the Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery section at the Emory Eye Center. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist with sought-after expertise in oculoplastics, treating both adults and children.
Dr. Wojno specializes in disorders of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit (eye socket), including orbital tumors and essential blepharospasm. He maintains an active practice in cosmetic surgery, botulinum toxin injections, and reconstruction of periocular structures. In 1984, he co-authored the original paper on the clinical use of botulinum toxin in the eyelids and has directly trained all oculoplastics fellows within the Emory Eye Center's fellowship program.
With over 80 peer-reviewed articles, 28 book chapters, and three textbooks on oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Wojno is a prolific author and frequent presenter at regional, national, and international meetings. He serves on the editorial board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and his clinical research focuses on advancing treatments for eyelid and orbital conditions.
