About Me
Dr. Kyle MacLean is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cataract and refractive surgeon at LaserCare Eye Center in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He specializes in laser vision correction and lens-based procedures, including LASIK, SMILE, PRK, refractive lens exchange, and advanced cataract surgery with premium lenses. In addition to surgery, he provides comprehensive eye and contact lens exams and treats glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other common eye diseases.
Dr. MacLean earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience, with a minor in music, from Brigham Young University and completed medical school at the University of Rochester Medical School. He went on to an ocular pathology and research fellowship at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, followed by an internship at Spokane Teaching Hospitals and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Fluent in Spanish, he enjoys helping patients understand their options and choose a vision plan that fits their goals.
