About Me
Dr. Vipin P. Kuriachan is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who has served the Irving, Texas community since 2014. He founded the Kuriachan Eye Institute in 2018 and became its Medical Director in 2026, leading a comprehensive medical and surgical eye care center that also includes KEI Aesthetics for minimally invasive cosmetic facial procedures.
Dr. Kuriachan graduated magna cum laude in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and earned his medical degree with honors from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, following an internship in Internal Medicine at Loyola University.
His patient philosophy focuses on building relationships and taking a conservative, educational approach to care, with the goal of maximizing patients' quality of life. He has hospital affiliations at several area centers, including Baylor Surgical Hospital at Las Colinas and Coppell Surgery Center. Dr. Kuriachan has been recognized as Living Magazine Irving Edition Reader's Choice for Best Ophthalmologist and received an Excellence in Community Outreach award for his work in underserved communities.
