Meet Dr. Kenneth Schor
About Me
Dr. Kenneth Schor is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and anterior segment surgery. He has extensive experience in cataract and complex cataract surgery, utilizing advanced intraocular lens (IOL) technologies such as astigmatic correcting (toric), multifocal, trifocal, and extended depth of focus IOLs. Dr. Schor was among the first surgeons in the Washington D.C. metro area to implant the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) and is an expert in laser-assisted cataract surgery with the CATALYS femtosecond laser.
In addition to cataract surgery, Dr. Schor specializes in glaucoma surgical management. He employs the latest laser and surgical techniques, including Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), Baerveldt and Ahmed Glaucoma implant surgery, traditional trabeculectomy, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures such as iStent, Kahook Dual Blade goniotomy, OMNI 360, and Xen Gel Stent. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. Dr. Schor is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society, and he continues to participate in clinical research to advance the field.
