Meet Dr. Won Il Kim

Dr. Won I. Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. As a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, he offers the latest medical, laser, and surgical options for glaucoma patients, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and traditional filtration procedures. He is also an expert in cataract surgery, utilizing advanced intraocular lenses such as toric, multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses to correct astigmatism and provide visual clarity.

He has extensive experience with complex cataract cases requiring specialized techniques, and he was one of the first in the DC area to implant advanced glaucoma stents.
