Dr. Kenneth Maverick

Dr. Kenneth Maverick is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Focal Point Vision in San Antonio, Texas. He is fellowship-trained in anterior segment and refractive surgery and specializes in advanced cataract surgery, LASIK, and corneal transplantation. Dr. Maverick is a fifth-generation Texan who returned to San Antonio after completing his training.

Dr. Maverick was the first surgeon in San Antonio to perform laser cataract surgery, ICL, DSEK, and DMEK procedures. He also serves as the Medical Director of the San Antonio Eye Bank and developed the area’s first autologous serum tear program for patients with severe dry eyes. Dr. Maverick’s practice focuses on providing advanced surgical options for conditions such as cataracts, refractive errors, corneal disease, and dry eye syndrome.
