About Me
Dr. O’Dea is an ophthalmologist who takes time to help patients understand what is happening with their eyes and what their options are for treatment. She cares for adults with common eye conditions and focuses on clear communication so patients feel comfortable and informed at each step of their care.
Born in Bangladesh, she moved to the United States as a child and grew up in New Jersey. She attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia and completed internship and residency training in San Antonio with the United States Air Force. Before specializing in ophthalmology, she also served as a Flight Surgeon for U2 pilots at Beale Air Force Base and spent nine years in the military, with her most recent duty station at Nellis Air Force Base.
Her clinical interests include cataracts, dry eye, and glaucoma. Outside of medicine, she enjoys dance, exercise, travel, and spending time with her family.
