Dr. Steven Fisher

Dr. Steven J. Fisher is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care to patients in the San Antonio area. He specializes in cataract surgery and eye exams and emphasizes a supportive approach to help patients feel at ease before surgery, personally following up after each procedure.

Dr. Fisher completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and his ophthalmology residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He also served as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at University Hospital and Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and other professional organizations, and he practices as part of Medical Center Ophthalmology Associates.
