About Me
Dr. Laurenti specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, caring for children with eye alignment problems and other complex eye conditions. His practice includes both medical and surgical treatment of pediatric disorders such as strabismus, amblyopia (lazy eye), childhood cataracts, ptosis, and tear duct obstruction. He also treats adults with strabismus.
He completed his ophthalmology residency training with the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals and then pursued fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. He has also served as an assistant professor, teaching ophthalmology and contributing to research.
Dr. Laurenti aims to help families understand the diagnosis and options clearly, so they can feel confident about the next steps in their child’s care.
