Dr. Michael Kipp

Dr. Michael A. Kipp is a pediatric ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of strabismus (misaligned eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), tear duct obstructions, and eye problems related to prematurity. He also treats adult strabismus. Dr. Kipp currently serves as president of Wheaton Eye Clinic.

Over more than 25 years at Wheaton Eye Clinic, Dr. Kipp has performed over 5,000 surgical procedures on both children and adults. He previously served as director of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Chicago, where he taught residents and medical students for over eight years. He has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters and is an editor of a national pediatric ophthalmology journal.

Dr. Kipp is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
