Dr. Jung Woo

Dr. J. John Woo is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained retinal surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and teaching experience. He founded Advanced Retina Center in Vienna, Virginia in 2009, a practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions. He completed an ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College and an advanced vitreoretinal diseases and surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Woo emphasizes quality patient care, communication, and compassion in his practice. He has held teaching roles including Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Assistant Director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York. He is committed to educating both patients and medical students, and he participates in local and national medical societies.
