Dr. Muge Kesen

Dr. Muge R. Kesen is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal and inflammatory diseases of the eye. With over 10 years of experience in both academic and private practice settings, she combines exceptional patient care with dedication to clinical research.

Dr. Kesen completed her ophthalmology residency at Temple University and pursued advanced fellowships in ocular inflammatory diseases and immunology, medical retina, and vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She has held academic appointments as an assistant professor at West Virginia University and an associate professor at the University of Maryland.

She is the founder of the Retina and Uveitis Center in McLean, Virginia, and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
