Dr. Del Piero graduated from Columbia University, where she received the Behrens Memorial Prize in Ophthalmology. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, a top 10 program, where she managed thousands of cases in cataract, retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics. During her training, she served on the primary Ophthalmology team for the largest VA Hospital in the United States and several other regional hospitals, including Texas Children’s Hospital.
