About Me
Dr. Juliet Del Piero is an award-winning board-certified ophthalmologist and micro-surgeon who grew up in the Monterey Peninsula. She is dedicated to providing the most ethical and caring eye care, from routine exams to complex surgery, for patients in the Monterey Bay Area.
Dr. Del Piero graduated from Columbia University, where she received the Behrens Memorial Prize in Ophthalmology. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, a top 10 program, where she managed thousands of cases in cataract, retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics. During her training, she served on the primary Ophthalmology team for the largest VA Hospital in the United States and several other regional hospitals, including Texas Children’s Hospital.
Her surgical expertise has been recognized with several awards, including the ICARE Award for exceptional care of Veterans, the Stephen N. Schindler Award for High Ethical and Humane Standards, and the Everett L Goar Research Award.
