Dr. Celia Chao

Dr. Celia Difan Chao is a board-certified ophthalmologist dedicated to providing expert eye care. She is certified by The American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Her training includes an internship at Harnett Health in North Carolina and a residency in ophthalmology at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Chao offers a wide range of ophthalmic services, specializing in adult cataract and pterygium surgery, post-cataract surgery laser treatments, glaucoma management using medications and laser, diabetic retinopathy management and treatment, dry eye, and uveitis. She is committed to general eye health and takes a special interest in educating patients on prevention, advocating for holistic care to support overall well-being.

Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Chao appreciates California's natural beauty and enjoys outdoor activities like trail running with her husband and husky in her spare time.
