Dr. John French

Dr. John French is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in conditions of the cornea and front of the eye. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for corneal diseases, keratoconus, cataracts, and refractive errors. Dr. French is recognized for his expertise in advanced procedures such as corneal cross-linking, blade-free LASIK, and the latest techniques in cataract surgery with premium lens implants.

Dr. French completed his medical training at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed a residency at the Storm Eye Institute and a fellowship in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He has been honored with several awards, including being named a Top Cataract Surgeon in the U.S. by Sightpath Medical.

Dr. French joined Carolina Eye Associates in 2012 and sees patients in Dunn and Southern Pines. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In his practice, he focuses on delivering personalized, cutting-edge eye care to help patients achieve their best possible vision.
