About Me
Dr. Faraaz Khan is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained Cornea and Refractive Surgery specialist. Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Duke University. He then received his medical degree from Wake Forest Medical School, where he also conducted research at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Khan completed his Ophthalmology training at Virginia Commonwealth University and went on to complete a Cornea and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester. He has lectured on innovative techniques in artificial cornea transplantation across the United States. Dr. Khan is dedicated to improving access to eye care and delivering patient-focused service.
After his fellowship, Dr. Khan returned to North Carolina and now practices in Holly Springs. He resides there with his wife and three children. He is fluent in Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu, and he enjoys playing basketball, running, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Khan takes great honor in providing his patients with the best possible vision using the most innovative techniques.
