About Me
Dr. Adam “Buck” Bennett is a cornea and external disease specialist at Raleigh Eye Center. He offers medical and surgical care for corneal disorders, advanced cataracts, and complex lens problems, and also provides refractive surgery for appropriate candidates. Patients value his straightforward explanations and the way he lays out options so they can decide together on the safest, most effective path forward.
Dr. Bennett completed ophthalmology residency and medical school at UT Southwestern, followed by fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at Wills Eye Hospital. His surgical practice includes full- and partial-thickness corneal transplantation (such as DSEK and DMEK), routine and complex cataract surgery, and secondary intraocular lens placement when prior implants are dislocated or absent. He also treats dry eye disease, corneal dystrophies, and keratoconus, and performs LASIK/PRK to correct refractive error. His aim is durable clarity and comfort, with care plans tailored to each person’s vision goals.
