About Me
Dr. Pollack is a retina specialist who has been practicing at Illinois Retina Associates and Rush University Medical Center since 1997. He sees patients at the Joliet location. His clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of retinal conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, epiretinal membranes, retinitis pigmentosa, and retinal detachment.
Dr. Pollack is dedicated to providing cutting-edge retinal care in a personalized and compassionate manner. He believes in thoroughly educating each patient about their retinal disorder and tailoring treatment options to their specific needs and circumstances. His goal is for patients to leave the office with a clear understanding of their condition and a sense of hope.
Dr. Pollack completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University. He then completed an ophthalmology residency at Washington University and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
