Dr. Michael Grassi

Dr. Michael A. Grassi is a medical retina specialist in Naperville, Illinois. His expertise focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of retina conditions, including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Grassi also provides care for complex and rare retinal diseases.

Dr. Grassi attended medical school at Northwestern University and completed a general ophthalmology residency and a three-year medical retina fellowship at the University of Iowa. He previously served as a tenured faculty member at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he directed the NIH-supported Retina Chemical Genomics Laboratory. He has been practicing in the Chicagoland area since 2006.
