Dr. Joaquin De Rojas

Dr. Joaquin O. De Rojas is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cataract, refractive, and corneal surgeon. He serves as Medical Director for Florida at US Eye and Director of Refractive Surgery at Center For Sight. Dr. De Rojas completed ophthalmology residency at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was Chief Surgical Resident, followed by a Cornea, External Diseases and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. He partners closely with patients to tailor care to their vision goals.His expertise includes premium and laser-assisted cataract and lens replacement surgery, LASIK and PRK, and EVO ICL. He also manages complex corneal and ocular surface disease, including Fuchs’ endothelial dystrophy and keratoconus, and frequently performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), often combined with cataract procedures.
