Dr. James Loden

Dr. James Loden is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained LASIK and cataract specialist who founded Loden Vision Centers in 1999. He is recognized as a pioneer in laser cataract surgery, having been the first surgeon in Tennessee to perform the procedure.

Dr. Loden treats a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, refractive errors, glaucoma, and corneal disease. He offers advanced surgical options such as LASIK, SMILE, EVO ICL, PRK, refractive lens exchange, and corneal transplants, as well as medical treatments for dry eye and diabetic eye disease. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

With a focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Loden provides comprehensive eye care at his Goodlettsville office and other locations across Tennessee.
