Dr. Ingrid Chang

Dr. Ingrid Chang is a board-certified ophthalmologist who believes great eye care starts with listening. She partners closely with each patient to understand their goals and lifestyle, then explains diagnoses and treatment options in clear, straightforward language. Having lived in several countries before settling in Seattle, Dr. Chang values culturally responsive care and is fluent in Mandarin and English. She enjoys building long-term relationships and helping people protect the sight that connects them to family, work, and the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest.Dr. Chang earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington, and pursued subspecialty fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of California, San Francisco. She cares for the full spectrum of glaucoma and cataract concerns—from early evaluation to advanced surgical solutions—and welcomes patients seeking second opinions. Outside the clinic, she stays active hiking local trails, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
