About Me

Dr. Henry M. Kwong is a board-certified ophthalmologist who subspecializes in diseases and conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. He joined Associated Retina Consultants in 2009 as a retina specialist and provides care for all common retinal diseases with a special focus on ocular trauma and sutured intraocular lenses (IOLs).

Dr. Kwong holds several leadership positions, including medical director and assistant director of the vitreoretinal fellowship program at his practice. He also serves as section chief of ophthalmological services at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, clinical director of vitreoretinal surgery at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems, and is an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology for the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.

He is an executive board member for the Arizona Ophthalmological Society and actively collaborates on biomedical engineering projects with Arizona State University. Dr. Kwong has served as a principal investigator in multiple national clinical trials.
