About Me
Dr. Gordon C. Keehn is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 33 years of experience in comprehensive eye care and vision health management. He now practices at St. Luke’s at The Villages, where he provides a full range of eye care services, from routine examinations to the management of complex ocular conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, and age-related eye concerns. His approach combines evidence-based practices with the latest advancements in ophthalmology to deliver personalized care.
Dr. Keehn completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at North Carolina State University and conducted vision research at UCLA before earning his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed a transitional internship at Charity Hospital of Louisiana and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Center at Houston Hermann Eye Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He also spent over two decades as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, contributing to the training of future eye care specialists.
