Meet Dr. Kimberly Couture Ireland

Dr. Kimberly Ireland is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in advanced laser cataract surgery. She serves as the medical director of St. Luke's at The Villages in Florida. Dr. Ireland is dedicated to improving her patients' vision and quality of life through state-of-the-art surgical techniques and comprehensive eye care.

Dr. Ireland completed her medical degree at Albany Medical College and her ophthalmology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She brings extensive experience from her previous role as Department Chair for a large multi-specialty group in Wisconsin, where she oversaw the expansion of a hospital and surgery center. Dr. Ireland also developed glaucoma screening programs and provided ophthalmic care to underserved communities in Milwaukee.

At St. Luke's at The Villages, Dr. Ireland focuses on cataract surgery and the management of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome. She is committed to teaching the next generation of eye care professionals and ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care.
