About Me
Dr. Garett Frank is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialty training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. He cares for patients at Colorado Ophthalmology Associates’ Denver and Lakewood offices and enjoys helping people see clearly again after complex corneal disease or visually significant cataracts. Dr. Frank earned his BS in biochemistry–molecular biology from Emporia State University, completed medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and trained in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado. He then completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Duke University Eye Center. Dr. Frank performs a full spectrum of corneal transplantation and advanced cataract and refractive procedures, and also manages glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, corneal infections, and dry eye. He has published on cornea and cataract topics and stays current with emerging techniques to offer safe, effective care. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and active in the Cornea Society, and was named a Denver “Top Docs” honoree by 5280 Magazine in 2025. Patients describe his manner as clear, kind, and thorough.
