About Me
Dr. Amy Kelmenson is a board-certified corneal, refractive, and external disease specialist at Colorado Ophthalmology Associates. She provides comprehensive eye care, including medical and surgical treatment of conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, uveitis, and complex corneal and ocular surface disorders. Her surgical expertise includes advanced corneal transplants, LASIK refractive surgery, and cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants.
Dr. Kelmenson completed her medical degree at the University of Colorado and further specialized through a cornea fellowship at Tufts New England Eye Center. She is fluent in English and Spanish and treats patients at both the Denver and Lakewood locations. She believes in compassionate, personalized care and a hands-on approach to patient treatment.
Dr. Kelmenson is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Colorado Society for Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She has been recognized as a Denver Top Doc by 5280 Magazine and serves as a clinical instructor for ophthalmology interns at local hospitals.
