Dr. Fatima Ali

Dr. Fatima Ali is a cornea specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at Chicago Arbor Eye Institute, providing advanced surgical and medical eye care to patients in the Chicagoland area. She is a cataract, cornea, and refractive surgeon dedicated to delivering outstanding, patient-centered care. Dr. Ali's clinical and surgical expertise includes laser cataract surgery, advanced technology intraocular lenses, and the treatment of corneal diseases such as keratoconus and pterygium, as well as laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK). She is committed to staying at the forefront of ophthalmology, utilizing the latest technologies to ensure the highest quality of care for each patient.

Dr. Ali completed an accelerated six-year combined undergraduate-medical degree program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She then completed an internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She further specialized with a rigorous fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at Emory University.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Ali enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring Chicago, and baking.
