Meet Dr. Roshni Vasaiwala
About Me
Dr. Roshni Vasaiwala is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external diseases at Loyola Medicine. She sees adult patients for a range of conditions affecting the front of the eye, including corneal diseases, keratitis, keratoconus, and cataracts. She also manages complex conditions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome and treats corneal and conjunctival tumors. Dr. Vasaiwala is an associate professor and is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Vasaiwala completed her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and then pursued an internship at MacNeal Hospital. She completed her residency and a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at the University of Illinois Hospital-Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
She is part of the Loyola Medicine Physician and Loyola Physician Partners groups. Dr. Vasaiwala is involved in research and has published on the use of telemedicine for evaluating ocular exam findings via smartphone images.
